Audigy Recording Problems

    Audigy Soundcard

    I am having trouble with my newly installed Audigy soundcard.
    I cannot record from my microphone. Have tried all possibilities.
    Creative no help, their answer plug in the microphone into the middle port. My os is xp professional. Anybody out there have any suggestions:(
