Audio driver problem

I recently came across a problem with my audio driver which is that it simply wont work so, I try updating it and no change, then i completly uninstalled it and when i try to reinstall it windows wont let it finish the install. A message comes up with the two choises- do not install this decive driver or install this device driver anyway and no matter how many times you tell it to install it just wont.

Also my internet works but the little icon in the bottom corner now says service execution error

scaned for viruses and spyware found none so any help would be great

You havent said what pc you have or what windows version you are using.
