   How do i record sound clips off my dvd player
   
   .....soundforge and wavelab did a great job in the past but i no longer have these apps....what free software can i use to do the same thing ?

   Heck !!.......I got soundforge 5.0 again but its not recording my dvd audio signal.......(it worked before on a different comp)
   
   
   Does the sound card need to be directly plugged into the DVD drive ?
