I recently clicked auto select button on accident and now my screen has black bars on each side and my windows on the bottom are submerged. I've tried everything but it won't go back to normal. I tried fixing the resolution but it didn't work. I have a Hp w2207 monitor.

They aren't on my screen. They're halfway under the screen. And the auto select button is on the monitor itself next to the + and - keys

I just tried to completely reset my pic. But the resolution is still the same. Everything is shifted down and left

Review manual with attention to detail, especially 4-1 through 4-8.

- video card?
- video cable?
- adapters?
- video connection used?
- do you have CD from HP for this monitor?
"Auto" button is to be used for VGA only
There is no "Auto Select". "Select" is another button.
