"AVG Alert Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close"

For the past few days, AVG keeps giving me these errors whenever it tries to update, or scan.

"AVG Alert Manager has encountered a problem and needs to close" Funny thing is, right now after this message appeared, AVG didn't close but it still keeps giving me this error when I tried to scan.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it didn't fix the problem.

Any help?

In that case your pc is probably infected.

You need to read the sticky threads in the Security and the Web forum then make a post there.
