Bad Image Virus, 8 steps done plus Tren Micro

Thanks in advance, great site lots of helpful info, now that I had a chance to look around.

Problem is I can't open Office Word or Excel. and I get the Bad Image window when I try to open other programs. Along with the symptoms I'm also running a little slow.

I first cough this using trend micro this is the infected log file. from trend micro.

file name.
C:\ system volume information...

virus name.
troj_fakea

action .
infected file.

New problem We found last night. I can't open system restore and surprise surprise I can't find even find that file if I search for it.

Any thoughts?
