    Geforce 5500FX 256mb card
    256K dsl

First of all, i do not know what a ping is??
And sumtimes i get kicked out of servers for high pings....around 300 - 400
Can u guys help me to lower my ping???

easiliest way of explaining ping is... it is the time that it takes for 1 packet of data to travel from your computer to the server you are contacting.

the higher the ping the more lag you are going to see in the game.

you will see high pings during heavy traffic times.. ex 3pm - 9pm
other causes of high ping is the quality of service you have... ex dialup/cable/dsl.

I have noticed that cable tends to have higher ping rates than dsl.
some games will allow you to change the size of the packet that is sent which can help a little on lowering your ping rate.

the way you would lower your ping is by lowering the packet size that is sent thus it would be able to make it much quicker.

your typical internet accelerator will help a little.

if you want to try doing some tweaks to change your MTU. try going to www.regedit.com if its still there.. if not i will try to post back some directions when i get more time.
