Same thing decade after decade. Doesn't matter how they dress it up, it's still the same song. I did like the song once upon a time, say about 30 years ago.

I rather enjoy being pinned to the back of the pew by my Christmas music........., (as opposed to being nagged by it)...
BTW, in your studio version of "Silent", the piano is a full octave lower than in the live version, the sustain pedal is depressed, and the strings fill in the gaps between the vocals.
In any case, the piano in the live version is a bit chunky, and dies out too soon.
The one "angel" is really high. I'm thinking about A-6!
