Whats "init display first" do in the bios, the options are agp and pci what does this bios feature do? Thank you

Innitial display first, means which display do you want bios to check for first when first starting.
AGP: If you have an AGP video card plugged in
PCI: if you are using onboard (on your M/B) video first

You need to:

Go into your system bios
Change "init display first" to AGP
Search for Video mem (it may not exist, but should be near "init display first")
Change it from 32Meg (usually what it's set to) to 256Meg (assuming your card is 256M)
Then press F10 (save and exit)

In Windows confirm all your AGP drivers are loaded (from CD or web?)

Anyway that's it. Done

edit:

Oh, what will it do
It will make your bios see the AGP card more quickly

I did an assignment in school once, what step do you do to get out of bed

i already instaleld the new card n drivers but there is a secondary driver for defauklt monitor do u no y thats there? i tried uninstallin the secondary but it indtalls the primary driver too. brb lemme try that setting

The card probably has a split Primary and secondary (to make it run faster)
ie 256 on Primary, 256 on secondary making it 512 Meg in total
Set the bios for 256 Meg (if that setting exists)

And leave Windows with Primary and secondary installed

Oh in that case it's 128 Primary and 128 Secondary, making 256Meg
Set bios to 128Meg
leave the timing settings alone
