bios upgrade problem

  1. mfm1200 Newcomer, in training

    just upgraded the bios on my MB(Intel D865perl)
    Whenever I boot up I get a balloon saying new hardware found(multimedia),
    and now I find no sound on my AIW 9700pro when I turn on the tv.
    I'm a bit wary of uninstalling the driver and re-installing as I've had issues with this before and get errors in the multimedia system.

    You should reinstall the drivers for your motherboard, not the AIW. Download the latest from Intel.
