black screen for 2 seconds

Hello. I have a problem. It started today - my computer monitor frequently turns black for one or two seconds and than back to normal. It isn't possible to work like this. By the way, I haven't installed any new programs or hardare. What could be the problem?

Its impossible to tell without knowing what hardware and software you are using!!!

What do you wan't to know? 256 RAM, PENTIUM(R) CPU 2 GHz, v-card GeForce 5200fx what else?

First thing I'd do is find out if this is a monitor problem or a computer hardware problem.

Can you test that monitor in another system, or can you test another monitor in your system?

Is it a pc or is it a laptop???
What version of windows are you using on it???
What antispyware have you tried on it???
What antivirus have you tried on it???
Have you updated any drivers on it???
