  1. Last night I finished building my first pc in 10 years. I started it, installed windows and drivers. I ran it for about 4 hours before I went to bed. I left it on because I was downloading a game. This morning, blinking power button and nothing works. I unplugged it for a bit, I pressed the cmos reset button on the back, I plugged it straight into the wall. Nothing. I can't be the PSU right, its only been in use for 8 hours at the most. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Infantile failure of a component? Power connec tion chain? (attempt at humor)

Blinking power button - no fans - no BIOS screen - no beeps - ?bad 'power good'? http://www.pcguide.com/ref/power/sup/funcPowerGood-c.html

Work up power chain to and including motherboard.

Check wall outlet, check power connections to motherboard and video card.

If still issue, then try another PSU.
