    Hi,

Having problems with blue screen crashes --regularly:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0x80576f73, 0xbaebb9c0, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini041006-01.dmp.

Can someone please advise what I should do, as I have no idea at all.

    I have attached 4 minidumps.

    Thanks

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

3 minidumps crash with a bugcheck of 8E.

1 minidump crashes at SYMEVENT.SYS. This is part of your Symantec/Norton security software. It has a bugcheck of C2.

Uninstall and reinstall Symantec/Norton and check for any updates/patches etc.

You should also go HERE and follow the instructions.

    0x0000008E: KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

A kernel mode program generated an exception which the error handler didn’t catch. These are nearly always hardware compatibility issues (which sometimes means a driver issue or a need for a BIOS upgrade).

    0x000000C2: BAD_POOL_CALLER

A kernel-mode process or driver incorrectly attempted to perform memory operations. Typically, a faulty driver or buggy software causes this.
