Hi guys. I'm a newcomer to the site. hope someone can help me, my daughter's computer boots up using Windows XP and goes to user settings okay; but after 20 secs the screen goes blue and the memory dump warning tells me there has been a problem. This is what it comes up with: STOP:0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xAA22021D, OxA9990784, 0x00000000)
    Any help very much appreciated
    Thnx

0x8E errors are due to hardware issues. I would first test your RAM with Memtest www.memtest.org and run the test for a minimum of 7 Passes. Any errors and you have memory that needs to be replaced.
