ok, i was able to get rid of the blue screen (using 'last known good configuration' method)

it apeard that the alcohol version i used isn't compitable with vista

but when i try to unistall it, it say that i can't because the program isn't currently used

it's still on the start up menu, any ideas ?

hello darkside... i'm was having the same problem with my aser laptop... now i did what you said ('last known good configuration') and then a window appeared asking me if i wanted to install a new bios configuration... i said no, then uninstalled alcohol and restarted the computer without problems... maybe this can help you solving the problem... and thanks for the 'last known good configuration' idea
