Boot up beeping

Hello all at Techspot,
Haven't been been here in a while, good to see the place didn't fall apart without my wise counsel:unch: :haha: Anyway, I've got a small problem. My pc has decided to beep at me every time I boot it up, just at the Dell loading screen. I have to mash the keyboard to get it to finish loading and then it works fine, I'm writing on it right now! I've opened it and cleared it of all the dust, but the beeping persists. Just wondering if anyone knows what's going on, and if I can fix it. Thanks as always,

hi there have you tried using a different keyboard, one of the keys could be stuck slightly (underneath a key, the sensor pad), similar thing happened to my mums pc, i went round and swapped it and found one of the keys had stuck slightly causing a rapid beeping during boot up.

Is it just a continuous beeping or is it an actual beep code? If its a beep code, you'll need to consult your motherboard manual.

I had a problem like this once. Just unplugged the internal speaker, lol :haha:
