8 months old HP DV5T series laptop. I have installed XP on this. after doing windows security update today I received BSOD twice . This never happened before.
Can some please help and tell me what could be the problem? I have not installed any hardware.

0xC5 errors (which both are) are caused by drivers corrupting the driver pool. The problem with the dumps is that it didn't cite anything specifically. Run ChkDsk and tell us if in Stage 2 it reports recovering lost files, etc.
