there used to be a bluescreen decoder for windows... is it still around i really need it right now. Anyone kind enough to send me the file please and thank you!
 
Some common BSOD causes:

1. Bad memory
2. Corrupt hard drive
3. Bad hardware/driver
4. Incorrect/corrupt bios settings
5. Failing power supply

Ahh... you mean "How to read Minidumps"... I don't read minidumps any more since I stopped using XP. What were you doing when the BSOD happened?
 
i just closed my laptop since i wasnt gonna use it for a bit and it bluescreened and restarted. Its not reacting to any of the memory tests. I checked it for corrupt files... Nothing but the dump says that some ntokrnl.exe is to blame. Its repaired now. i believe but i cant get SP2
