Hi. I recently built a comp with the following specs: Asus Stiker Extreme mobo, Intel QX6700, liquid cooled (Thermaltake), 2 Gb Patriot Extreme (DDR2 800, 1x2), 650W power supply, one GeForce 6800 XT, raptor 150gb and 300gb Seagate data drive. The processor normally runs around 30C +/- 3 degrees.
I keep getting BSOD's at different addresses. A common one is:
Error code 100000d1, parameter1 ffffff80, parameter2 000000ff, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 7c911924.
Another is Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c0000005, parameter2 805525a1, parameter3 b55f0ee0, parameter4 00000000.
An yet another, Error code 1000000a, parameter1 7fb1340c, parameter2 000000ff, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 804de7fe.
I've read about a lot of problems with this board, one being the nvidia firewall so I uninstalled it. I've also rum memtest and let it run for over 10 passes with no errors. However, I've used a program called Everest and run tests on my hardware components. The test will stop after about 3 minutes on the memory but I can't tell why (I'm new to this prog). It just says that the system has become unstable and must abort the test. I'm not overclocking any of the components in the BIOS. I've downloaded and installed the latest BIOS and device drivers from the Asus website.
