Bsod problem.

I am having a similar problem of a BSOD "System Check Exception".
It happened when I changed my network settings to set a pc-pc (ad-hoc) network using a croosover cable.
After changing the settings,when I restarted , the computer gave the BSOD.
The pc is set up with a dual boot opeating system.When
I use Win 98SE there is no problem.But when I start XP normally it doesn't.
However XP works in safe mode.PLz Help me.

My PC has :-
Asus k8v-mx mobo
AMD Sempron 2500+
256 MB RAM
IGP

Go and read this thread HERE and see if it helps you to identify the culprit.
