I've had my notebook for a little over a year. Yesterday evening I decided to defrag my notebook for the second time. It took about 3-4 hours. This evening I rebooted my computer and the screen went blank. I rebooted several times and still has a black screen. I am thinking it might be the video card. I need some advice. Thank you.

    I don't understand the Poll
    Both answers can be applicable

BSOD can happen on BootUp drivers/Services or When running Windows Drivers/Services

It makes no difference. The point is you have a BSOD fault.

Also your question (relating ONLY to you)
    Probably needs abit more info
Ie your System Specs put into your User Profile
    What Video Card?
    What Windows version
Have you got Antivirus installed? Is it updated ? And scanned?

The real question is, How do you remove that silly Poll ?
