BSOD when Photoshopping, and now browsing

    Thank you for that :) also the noise isn't new, its the same noise the HD makes when I close the CD drive in, just when im opening programs as well... but definitely for all my files ill be backing it up

    You're welcome. Although the noise is not new I'd suspect it wasn't always like that so it is likely it will get worse and could one day fail completely. I would replace the drive as soon as you can before it fails, which it quite likely will.
