    AMD 64bit is a bit excessive for basic gaming and typing. I think yur previous settings are perfect for what your doing.

    BTW. I heard AMD was coming out with a Quadri core in the near future.
    what are yalls opinion on a qudricore.

    Yah but the price is definetly right. Athlon 64s start at $55 at Newegg (socket 939 Venice core 3000+ boxed with fan).
