Can I download Win 7 64-bit?

    Hi, I have an OEM copy of windows 7 but its 32-bit. I was wondering if their was anywhere I could download the 64 bit version and then use the product key supplied with my 32 bit disk to activate it and install? Thanks

    Try it and see. I don't think it will work though, as I believe Win8 begun x64/x86 combo-keys..

    I actually don't think any Windows OS (with the exception of maybe XP) is bit specific. The only thing that really matters is the licensed edition that was purchased

    I'm pretty sure windows 7 is not bit specific. And yes you can find the 64bit download.

    Yes, I agree with @hellokitty[hk] and @cliffordcooley.
    at windows 7 launch many years ago, I bought one windows 7 home premium family pack (3-pc license), there is only 1 license printed but two dvds are present, one 32-bit and one 64-bit.
