I hope I am in the right place. I cannot open oe6. Every once in awhile I can open it. I don't get any error messages. I click on OE icon and the blue screen opens that says Outlook Express 6 and that is it. It just stops there. Please help.

If you have an XP disk AND it is SP2 (assuming you have SP2 installed) then go to start, run, and type sfc /scannow .

You may be asked to insert the disk.

I did that before but did it again and still am unable to open oe6.

If that doesn't fix the problem. you better pm Howard Hopkinson or momok for spyware help OR re-install.

I am in the process of figuring what kind of computer to buy so I don't think I am going to do any/all of that. But could you reccommend a good oe backup program that will save everything? Thanks for all your help.
