I'm using windows xp and a Creative SB Live! Series (wmd) soundcard. Now this causes troubles in certain games, so I decided to install the newest drivers. I had some trouble finding them but after an hour of searching I finally found the right download.
But now when I try to install them an error pops up saying i don't have a Soundblaster Live! card installed!
I am 100% sure that i have such a card and it is in use. Could somebody help me to find better drivers or tell me how I can install these drivers?
BTW on the Creative-site they ask me to check my version by looking at the files ctaud2k.sys and ha10kx2k.sys. The problem is that these files aren't on my PC. It's not like I deleted them, my card is decently installed but it seems like something ate these driver-files.
