Cant install XP - erro loading operating system

Hi,
If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to install XP on my sisters new machine. She took my CD and was trying to put XP on her machine. She tells me that whilst installing XP it "just stopped" and she turned the computer off.

Now when we try to boot up the computer (with the XP CD in the drive) it doesnt even get to the blue installing windows screen. The screen stays black and goes thru:
"veryifying DMI pool data.........."
boot from CD

Then it comes up with an error loading the operating system. Becasue its a new machine she doesnt have a floppy drive so i cant boot from floppy and the CD is fine i used it to install on my machine

if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
