Had a computer with WMillenium and W2000.
Tried to formatt it but had problems because cd driver isn´t recognized, so wasn't able to start from CD (setup Bios only allows floppy and hard disk).
So now windows doesn't start - error 'file NTLDR is missing'
Tried to make a boot disk with files NTLDR+NTDETECT+boot.ini but now it appears message 'file NTDETECT is missing'
What to do???

still can't

I've downloaded boot disk from the site you've mentioned for W2000
It appeared error: disk error I/O (or something like this)
I then tried with a boot disk for WMillennium, and it reads the disk, but still doesn't boot. It stays on A:/ wainting for a command.

And why doesn't it boot from CD -why doesn't it appear on BIOS - can I fix this instead?
