CD Drive won't run games properly

Hey, I recently bought a Sony DVD & CD RW drive and it installed fine and the drivers were updated fine. The problem is that after I install a game, it says that I need to insert the correct disc. The game itself installs fine, and runs fine if I get a crack, but I don't want to have to crack games that I have bought. Anyone have an idea for me? Thanks in advance.
