B bluemani May 28, 2008 #1 recently my cd rom drive keeps trying to read with nothing in the drive, like i would be on the internet and every 10 seconds it would try read the cd rom, i'm not sure what i have done, can anyone help?

Registry Tracks pointing to the drive Download and run CCleaner Install then run select "Run Cleaner" (note: Internet Explorer must be closed) Also inside the same program, on the left hand side is "Registry" -> Scan for issues"
