I've worked as a draftsman and a CAD Tech for 14 years, I just made a career move, I took a position with Desktop Support in with my same company. I'll be charge of our Florida offices, approx. 100 people. I would like for things to run smoothly, with minimum computer issues. Any advice or comments on how to achieve this.

    Thanks,

use common sense. it takes you a long way and in managment its hard to find that sometimes.

Be innovative, design a new approach, or new idea in handling things
You may need to write up a common procedure, or introduce a new idea, ie TechSpot forum ;) Well you see my point :)

I'll probably continue to use this forum for info, but my "Clients" are basically on lock down, they don't have admin clearance. They cant load any kind of programs.

I would like to perform some sort of maintenance system to keep there computers running at optimum speed. When they are down, the company isn't making a profit.
