This is our ISP-provided modem router.
It is constantly sending out ARP broadcasts to every IP address in the subnet we're using. This was found out by using Wireshark while troubleshooting ping spikes.
Some people seem to think this is normal behavior from what I've read online, and that it doesnt affect anything - but it is causing periodic and constant lag/ping spikes while online gaming (BF4 e.g.), ruining the experience. I've ruled out insufficient hardware / too high settings as a cause of the lag.
How do I prevent this from happening?
