clean my Hard Drive

    hey i am having trouble with my pc im pretty sure its on the virdge of crashing the sideffects i am having is that it is very slow and it has programs called project 1 running when im not even running the program and when i click on my local C: drive its has alot of files that i havent ever seen (e.g they look like file u open to install) if some one could help me or let me know a way or program that could clear my HD from this or even bring it back to a healthy Hd that be geat thanks
