CmdLineCM

My computer works great - except everytime I try to play Diablo 2, Windows Defender comes up and says it has detected "CmdLineCM". I try to remove it, and it says it is removed. It tells me to reboot, but after it restarts, I try to run Diablo again, and I get the same message from WD. Help!

Its probably a problem with windows defender itself, its not a very good bit of software.
I tried windows defender once, it decided my Internet dialler program was a threat and removed it.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Make sure you have the latest definition files for Windows defender.

You might want to copy and paste these instructions into a notepad file. Then you can have the file open in safe mode, so you can follow the instructions easier.

Run a full system scan and delete whatever it finds.

Reboot into normal mode, turn system restore back on and rehide your protected OS files.

Then, go and read this thread HERE. Post a HJT log as an attachment into this thread and I`ll advise.
