  1. Can overheating cause my computer to freeze? I blew out a lot of dust from my fans. They all appear to be working okay.

How do I check my computer's temperature using Windows XP?

    Thanks!

yes i cant cause your computer to freeze. download everest home edition it will tell you alot about your pc including your temps http://www.lavalys.com.hk/products/everesthome.asp

once you have it installed, run it, then click on "computer", then click "sensor"
and that will show you what temp your pc is running depending on what sensor's your pc has.
