computer freezes

    yea so my computer likes to freeze at random moments...when i try to open a program up it will freeze and nothing will work...i can still move the mouse but i cant open up any other programs...also i can shut it off i have to reset it or i have to use the psu switch any body know what the problem could be

    How does the OS have anything to do with that but ill try it.

    It just sounds like your XP's a bit messed up. Hopefully reinstalling it will fix it.
