Computer Has No Sound

    I'm not sure what the problem is but my computer has no sound. It has a sound card and all that, and when I look at it under the system it says it's working properly. When I try to play a cd, or a site online or anything like that it plays but no sound can be heard. What is going on?

    I am not an expert but i would suggest going to control panel, click on sound devices or audio sound and make sure that mute is not clicked anywhere...or you can click on the volume icon in your lower taskbar if it is there and get the same answers.. hope this helps..

    i had the same problem and i conntacted e machines and they had me reinstall the soundcard drivers and it fixed the problem
