Computer Restarts When GPU Loaded

I don't think I can do that for now but the video card worked fine on my friend's case with my PSU. I also sent it to the tech department, they also said there was nothing wrong with the card. I'm about to go crazy.
Most probably the issue is with your RAM settings and not on your Motherboard and GPU.

Try replacing the ram . With spares if you have any. Then play your games and such. See if it crashes then. This will let you know if you are on the right track. As the ram being the cause. Plus check and make sure the ram you are using is for your motherboard.

It's all the default settings but can you help me somehow if I showed you my settings?
Some RAMs just don't seamlessly work/match with some motherboards default settings. Hence, it needs to be configured manually in order for it to work properly without having issues.

I changed the Rams with brand new ones. Still no change. The Rams are compatible with my Mobo. I looked up from the Mobo's website.

Then you may very well have a bad motherboard or video card. Have you tried the on board video. To see if this shuts down the computer. If not it could very well be your card.

Tried with 3 different motherboards, one of them was working flawlessly which was my friends old motherboard. The other two which failed me were brand new z87 and z97 chipset motherboards and I don't think they had problems. My video card had worked fine on my friends mobo with my PSU. I was gonna say it's the video card but like I said I had no problems on my friends old mobo.

Sounds like the card isn't compatible with the newer chipsets. Was your friend's old motherboard a Z77 chipset?

How come is it not compatible? I mean, it must be. The video card is one of the lastest GPU's that Nvidia released. My friends motherboard is Gigabyte GA-MA74GM-S2H

Yeah, mine is Intel. By the way, intel has an HD 4600 GPU inside it but I can't force it enough to make it restart with the program I use.

Have you turned off the on-board video when you install the Graphics card? You may have to select PEG in the bios as the first video device
