I did install it out of the box, but i removed my PSU to access my fan, and then took the fan out, fixed a bent plastic peg with some plyers, and it fit like a charm. As of since i've been up 27 hours straight and just got home from work. i cant type right let along think right. but lets hope the blue screens and turnoffs cease.

I dont use the Intel HSF though, i used a thermaltake fan thats enourmous hahah. anywho, if any problems persist, i'll be back with a multimeter reading, and not without one.

Okay so i've woken up and went on my computer. I gota blue screen as soon as i opened Call of Duty MW2. What in the hell is causing my computer to crash like this? I cannot figure it out. I looked it up and it says it could be anything from registry entries to inconsistencies in my computer hardware. How do i figure out which is causing the blue screen?

Sharam, I hope you are still able to respond to me.

I figured out how to use the multimeter after a lengthy google.

My 12v reads as 12.06v from both the 24pin and molex connectors
My 5v reads 5.05v from the 24pin and 5.04v from the molex.
My 3.3v reads 3.36v from both the 24pin and the molex connectors

My RAM, according to Windows Memory Diagnostics is bad. And i have sent for an RMA, however they like to take a good long time in responding to my support tickets.

The reason my computer kept shutting off was because my HSF for the CPU came loose, and i'm thinking that may have something to do with why my RAM went bad, but who knows really, it could have been anything. could have been bad from the factory for all I know.

Once this RAM is replaced (i have a lifetime warranty) I'm hoping that allll of my troubles will be over.

At least we know the problem(s) did not originate from the PSU.
