Computer turns off constantly

My computer constantly turns off after about 5 mins. I have used the restore function but it did not help. How can I stop it from turning off. Thanks

You computer can turn off for a bunch of reasons. It may be overheating, or it may have a power issue, or it could have bad memory, or a bad hard drive, or even a bad power strip. Laptop or desktop?
