i used to have a dynamic ip address from my ISP. i got a static ip address now. When i try to put my static address from ISP in the Ip settings in router ( Net gear wgt624), it gives me an errror message for subnet mask. It keeps telling me that the subnet mask is wrong. can some one guide me.

    thanks

What are you entering as the subnet mask?
Are you sure you are putting it in the WAN settings and not the LAN settings?

looks like a typo; normally the mask 255.255.255.0 is used. Give it a try, you're
no worse off than before :)
