I have two PC's using a Belkin G+ Mimo router to share my internet connection. Is there anyway that I can share onformation on my two PC's with each other?
Yes, using the home networking settings in My Computer->My Network Places->Network Tasks-> Setting up a home or office network. There is also a good tutuorial there, and additional information at www.microsoft.com.
Take your time. It appears to be more confusing and more work than it really is. You can connect up to three with little difficulty.
all systems should be config'd with DHCP active for both the IP and DNS addresses
The file/print sharing are then enabled on each system.
In addition, each firewall needs to enable file/print sharing too
(on default Windows XP, it's on the exception tab).
For other firewalls, you need ports 135,139,445,631 to be opened
for your lan ip range only.
