get this alert everytime I log on to pc inspiron "could not interface AVG Anti-Virus Kernel interface.Application cannot run" Thoughts ? Solutions?

I think the message may read "could not initialize AVG Anti-Virus Kernel interface. Application cannot run".
First thing to try is: The easiest way to sort that is as follows. Download a new version of AVG and save it to the desk top. Go off line and launch your new version follow the prompts and choose the repair option. That will re-install AVG and replace and corrupted files.
