I am reinstalling a cpu motherboard combo that I have ran before. This time when I power it up I get an audio message that reads: system failure due to cpu overclocking. This CPU has never been overclocked. I do not know what to do from here. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas. thanks...

thanks

I found the problem. this motherboard was previously running 4 512 sticks of ram. the memory settings in CMOS were auto configured to look for 4 sticks. I had to clear CMOS then install 1 stick into the b3 slot. once the computer booted I reset CMOS to factory defualt settings. Now it is working properly and recognizing the full amount of RAM. Thanks for the advice.
