Crakling speakers

The place I work at has surroundsound speakers and when someone's phone goes off either by text messages or someone calls that person, I hear crackling just before the phone goes off. Is there anyway I could fix this an if so, how?

Use shielded cables, or shield the speakers with one of the foil get-ups that electronic stores sell... or check and see if your wires run parallel to the speaker wires or other system in the vicinity.
