    isnt the extra version just the Zen NX with a 60gig drive instead of a 40gig one? id still rather have an ipod - or a muvo2

    Yeah its the nx with 60 gigs (I didnt need all that space but it was the only one I could order before christmas).

    Why? ive thouragly researched both (zen and the ipod) and the only thing the ipod seems to have up on the zen is its name and looks.

    Ipod is all cache. I'd avoid anything with a proprietary baterry that cannot be user changed- the commercials make me dance though!

    That said- I use minidisc. Tiny, Cheap, and way durable. How much music does one need to drag around anyway?
