Hey, guys! Does anyone know of the game Croc 2 for the PC? It has really good music. The problem is, the music is unplayable in its current state. Is there a converter that can convert this music file? I went into another forum, and it says that the files are "headerless mono ADPCM packaged into an ASF file". ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED!!!

Do this...

Look for an ASF extracting program, if there is one. Then you can open the PCM files with Wavelab or some program that can open those files. Just do a google of "ASF extract" and "audio converter"

What you could do very easily is get Goldwave and do the following steps:

  1. Create an hour-long document in Goldwave
  2. Set Recording properties to "Stereo Mix"
  3. Hit record on Goldwave
  4. Launch game
  5. NOTE: ANY sound will be recorded! Get to the part ingame where you have the music you want and just sit there until the track is done playing
  6. Exit game
  7. Press stop in Goldwave and edit to your liking (remove unwanted header/trailer)

If you have any questions feel free to message me.

not really, that's how I record music I want out of software that cannot be accessed... :chef:

Nope. You could ask the game label if they have a CD version of the music. That would save a lot of time. :chef:
