I am running XP Home on a Dell 8300. I just recently got rid of virus called w32.spyboy.worm. Now when i press "Ctrl-Alt-Del" to bring up task manager...it flashes for a second and them shuts down (the window i mean, not the PC). Also when i try to use Regedit it does the same thing, the window will flash, an it will close. Not to sure what to do. If anyone has any insight...please let me know

    Thanks

    How did you remove it?

This link gives some detail on where it is and what it does, and then gives you instructions on how to protect yourself from it and remove. Its worth a look.

sounds like you still have it, or another infection. The symptoms you describe are usually related to malware of some kind such as virii, spyware, etc...
