Custom laptop cases

Hey Me and a friend are making a laptop and I was just wondering do any of ye know any good sites where I could buy a laptop case?

Making a laptop? I had no idea you were such an expert in electronics. Can you describe the procedure you used to design and test the CPU you built?

I guess you mean you are getting the specs for a laptop, or are buying one. I that case, I really recommend a good laptop rucksag. Mine is made by DICOTA and is of very high quality I feel.

well to be honest I had no idea if it was possible its actually my friend wants to make one, he just presumed you could slap the components together like a pc, he just asked me to sourse him a case and give him a hand if neccisary.... Thanks for the responce anyway though!

You mean a case to put a laptop in?

As far as I have ever heard, you can't do that. You have to buy a laptop from a manufacturer. You can upgrade it, but its only certain type of upgrades such as RAM, HDD, PCMCIA devices and extra USB devices.

I think this is a bit of a non-starter. Assuming you find a case - doubtful. The next post would be does anyone know where I can get a laptop motherboard?
