Customers web page is too large for the desktop screen, Any solutions?

My students web pages are too large for the desktop screen, Any solutions?
I have some ideas, but would like some of your input please.

what screen resolution are you running at? -get a bigger screen, change resolution or learn them how to make "flexible" sites
